Free Home Inspections
Thanks to a generous donation by Inspectify, the RiseUp Fund is able to offer (50) free home inspections per year! Inspections must be performed by a certified Inspectify Home Inspector and follow all rules outlined below. The value of this free home inspection will not exceed $450 and is offered at the sole discretion of Inspectify. Completing the application and/or completing the Homebuyer Education Seminar is not a guarantee of the free home inspection or any other program. Free home inspections will be issued based on demonstrated need and qualification. Please do not assume you have been awarded the free home inspection unless you receive official notification from the RiseUp Fund. We select recipients on a rolling basis.
If you meet the eligibility requirements listed below, please submit your Agreement of Sale, Lending Estimate, and Settlement Notice to contact@riseupfund.org
Eligibility Requirements:
- Low to Moderate Income
- First Time Homebuyer
- Completed a HUD-approved First Time Homebuyer Education Seminar
- Have an introductory conversation (via telephone, internet, or in person) with one of RiseUp’s HUD-certified housing counselors
- Have a History with a Traditional Banking Institution
- Home Price Must be Below $250,000
RiseUp is not responsible for incidents arising out of the inspection report provided by our partner and will not offer refunds on the service. In no instance will certificates be redeemable for cash and unused certificates will expire 6 months after date of award. Rescheduling of set appointments will be honored once. After that, any rescheduling request will result in a void certificate.
