Homebuyer Education

Each month, we offer Homebuyer Education Courses that meet all the HUD requirements for first time homebuyer programs.

Your donation of $100 buys each participant a resource workbook in the homebuyer education series.

Closing Cost Assistance

RiseUp candidates are provided with a $5000 grant, which can be bundled with other down payment assistance, to offset closing costs.

Your gift of $50-$500 provides the first 1-10% of a grant to be used toward closing costs for low-income families.

Homeowner Mentorship

For the first year after move-in, each RiseUp candidate is partnered with a mentor to help answer questions, provide advice/resources, and be your cheerleader.

Your gift of $25 provides one week of mentoring for low-income families who’ve just become first-time homeowners.

IDA Program

In conjunction with the United Way, RiseUp candidates are eligible to receive a matched savings account, which will provide 2x their original savings to be used towards their closing costs and down payment.

A gift of $25 helps publicize this matching-funds savings program to low-income communities just getting started in putting aside a nest egg.
